When he's not blasting out tracks off his latest album, he's been playing along to other acts' tracks with his yidaki.That's how he came across his latest Like A Version choice – BLACKPINK's 'JUMP'."I've been doing a lot of yidaki over crazy slap beats and stuff," he said."I came across BLACKPINK through listening to old K-pop music, and so much of it in a way kinda resonates with what I'm doing in Australia. Like rapping in Yolŋu Matha and English which has been so cool."So to hear other countries do it, it's just so cool. It's so sick."Stepping back into the studio, the North-East Arnhem Land rapper took the energy to the next level, ricocheting off the walls like a bouncy ball out of a cannon."I added 'jump' references into it," Baker Boy said."Like the 'Kriss Kross will make you jump', but I have it in Yolŋu Matha ... in language I'm saying 'I always listen to Van Halen' so Van Halen's 'Jump'."And then there's a funny little thing in Yolŋu Matha where I say like 'I'm so fast and I bounce, just like a rabbit, super fast'.
