'BrokenLore: FOLLOW' Launches June 1 for PC, Consoles [Trailer] - Bloody Disgusting
For those wondering just when Serafini Productions’ BrokenLore: FOLLOW would finally arrive, you have your answer. The prequel to BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW (which launched back in January) will launch on June 1 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. Accompanying the announcement is a brand-new trailer. FOLLOW is an intense psychological first-person horror experience about Anne, a young woman haunted by her painful past and the inner demons that relentlessly chase her. After waking in her childhood home, Anne begins encountering surreal manifestations of her past memories and experiences. Through different chapters, Anne revisits key locations from her past, relives old memories, and comes to terms with past mistakes and pains, all whilst being pursed by a mysterious, terrifying entity that berates her endlessly. The game was developed in collaboration with psychologist Emanuela Papa, with the goal of accurately and sensitively representing the challenges of self-acceptance, eating disorders, body dysmorphia and worthlessness. Players will explore the difficult relationship with a mother with an extravagant personality and relive Anne’s bullying she endured from her peers.
