They’ll also perform a song from the fast-approaching 14-track LP, which drops Friday (March 20). The next day, BTS will appear again on Fallon to perform a second track from ARIRANG. That episode will also feature Chris Pratt and Charlie Day. The outing will mark the Bangtan Boys’ first group late-night interview since returning from military service. The last of the members were discharged over the summer, and they almost immediately reunited in the studio to create ARIRANG, the title of which is inspired by a historic Korean folk song. BTS’ swing by the Tonight Show also isn’t the only appearance they have planned in New York City in celebration of the album, which marks the group’s first full-length since 2020’s Billboard 200-topper, Be. As announced Monday (March 16), the boy band will perform and answer questions for a select group of fans at an undisclosed location in the city for a Spotify fan event on March 23. RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook last appeared all together on Fallon in 2021, performing Billboard Hot 100-topping singles “Butter” and “Permission to Dance.” The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. Monday through Friday, and streams on Peacock.
