Their visit will follow the release of their fifth studio album, “Arirang,” on Friday and the global live performance “BTS: The Comeback Live | Arirang,” streaming March 21 on Netflix. Their feature documentary, “BTS: The Return,” premieres March 27 on Netflix.  Related Stories 'Dorohedoro' Season 2 Trailer Drops, Cross-Eyes Voice Cast Revealed The long-awaited album is BTS’ first since “Proof,” a June 2022 release that was followed by a long group hiatus. The gap saw the individual members fulfilling mandatory military service in South Korea and recording a multitude of solo projects. Prior to the official announcement, group members had already gone direct to fans with the release date, sending letters with handwritten messages to some ARMY members’ homes with the telltale dateline of “2026.3.20.” Popular on Variety BTS last performed together on “The Tonight Show” during their BTS takeover in July 2021, although Jimin, Suga, Jung Kook, Jin and J‑hope have each appeared individually since then. The news was shared via Fallon’s and “The Tonight Show’s” social accounts. The March 25 episode of “The Tonight Show” will also feature Ariana DeBose. Chris Pratt and Charlie Day are set to appear on the March 26 episode. “The Tonight Show” tapes before a live studio audience from Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center and airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
