The event in Kelowna brought together skaters from across British Columbia and the Yukon to close out the Super Series season, which is the final in-person event of the 2025-2026 competitive season. According to the Campbell River Skating Club, Campbell River athletes delivered strong performances across several STAR categories. In STAR 2 Freeskate, Emma Culshaw, Kaia Jackson, Poppy Vale and Victoria Vale each earned Bronze standings, showcasing their progress and confidence on the ice. In STAR 4 Freeskate, Molly Gamble skated to an impressive third place finish, earning a podium spot. The club also saw strong results in STAR 5 events. Cylis Broadway finished 6th in Freeskate, while Katherine McKenzie placed 25th in Freeskate out of 68 and sixth in Artistic. Molly Gamble added another podium result with a second-place finish in STAR 5 Artistic. Travelling to Kelowna to compete against skaters from across the province was a valuable experience for the athletes and a great opportunity to represent their community, says the club. The Campbell River Skating Club said it congratulates all skaters and coaches on their hard work and dedication throughout the season. The club is also welcoming new and returning skaters, with spring registration now open for the CanSkate program, a fun learn-to-skate program for beginners or anyone looking to develop fundamental skating skills.
