The Morra brothers, Dom and Frank, have been ramping up. Their first Dante location debuted on Robson Street in November 2024, followed by a second outpost on Commercial Drive in November 2025. This Bentall Centre opening marks number three, and the brand’s most office-accessible address to date.The team behind Via Tevere, Don’t Argue Pizza, IL SALTIMBOCCA Food Truck and Straight Outta Brooklyn clearly isn’t in its slow-carb era. Instead, they are doubling down on what they do: classic Italian comfort.At the heart of Dante’s menu is house-made schiacciata, the Tuscan flatbread with a crisp exterior and airy interior that somehow manages to be both sturdy and delicate. It is baked fresh and stacked with Italian meats, cheeses and vegetables. These are sandwiches that require two hands and lots of napkins.The new 600-square-foot space is the coziest one yet, with a six-seat counter. Alongside the signature sandwiches, you will find arugula salad, Italian sodas and cannoli to round things out. But the real play here is corporate catering. This location is tailored to weekday lunches and boardroom spreads. Translation: your next team meeting could involve schiacciata instead of sad platters.“At Dante, we believe that food is a bridge, it connects us to our roots, to each other, and to the simple joys of life,” shares the Morra brothers in a release. “This new location is our way of sharing that connection with the downtown community, one sandwich at a time.”Dante Italian Sandwich Bentall is located at Bentall Centre Mall, lower concourse (501-505 Burrard Street) and is open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or sold out.
