Some truly extraordinary music we had figured out for it.” The live-action/CGI hybrid movie was announced in April 2020 as being in early development for Disney+. Estrada was on board to helm the remake from a script by Kari Granlund, who wrote 2019’s Disney+ reboot of “Lady and the Tramp.” Justin Springer (“Dumbo” and “Tron: Legacy”) would produce. Popular on Variety Estrada is repped by CAA and Ziffren Brittenham. Granlund is repped by Verve and Industry Entertainment. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the development update.
