Escape a Failing Space Station While Facing Existential Choice in 'Angels in Orbit' [Trailer] - Bloody Disgusting
Indie developer Vincent Lade has announced his existential sci-fi horror title Angels in Orbit, where players are confronted by something that claims divinity, and demands answers. Coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, this narrative-driven game sees players endure trials of morality, judgment, and the price of human ambition. The year is 2170. An anomaly has ripped through the AIO Station, leaving a lone technician fighting to survive. The station’s broken corridors echo a darker truth: the systems humanity builds betray the ideals they claim to protect, reshaping belief, authority, and identity into orders we follow, as if no other path exists. As the silence of deep space closes in, the player is confronted by biblical angels, where every choice is personal, and every consequence is earned. When faced with difficult themes, will you evade the truth to find solace in lies? Or will you be a witness after humanity has already committed its sins? You’ll need to navigate the collapsing space station that’s filled with clues, logs, and environmental storytelling. Piece together the hidden purpose of the AIO Station, the origins of the anomaly, and the truths buried in the wreckage. And seeing as you’re a technician, you’ll need to put your skills to the test by repairing broken systems, restoring failing machinery, and improvise to survive. As if trying to repair the station and find a way to escape wasn’t enough, you’ll also have to contend with the being known as Alter. Neither man nor divine, Alter stalks the corridors, relentlessly pursuing you without mercy.
