Eva Longoria and the team behind Amazon Prime Video’s “The House of the Spirits” will be among the notable multihyphenates, actors, writers and producers who are set to take part in the National Association of Latino Independent Producers’ Diverse Women in Media Forum, set for May 1 in Hollywood.
Longoria is co-founder and chief creative officer of of Hyphenate Media Group and an executive producer of “House of the Spirits,” which debuts today. It’s the first Spanish-language film adaptation of the beloved 1982 novel by Isabel Allende.

The forum will showcase top creatives and offer discussions about storytelling opportunities. It will also offer sessions and networking around behind-the-scenes activities ranging from executive coaching to financing to the technology that is radically changing how movies and TV shows are producted.

The forum will have a marketplace area featuring such vendors as RIF Care, Vita Parfum, Modern Muze, Tecuane, Youth Dealer, Lil Libros, Valdé Beauty and Marme Hats. Entertainment industry partners for the event include Starz, Disney, Comcast and NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Variety.
