Guy Ritchie’s Young Sherlock is streaming on Amazon Prime Video now, but what songs are on the soundtrack? Find out below.
The series follows a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes, played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin, during his unruly years at Oxford University. When a man is murdered and it puts his freedom at risk, Holmes sets out to solve his first major mystery.
Advertisement The show has been inspired by Andrew Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes series of books, which were a pastiche of Arthur Conan Doyle’s original stories, and Ritchie and Peter Harness have developed the show.
Ritchie has also directed the series, which co-stars Colin Firth, Joseph Fiennes and Max Irons, and all eight episodes are streaming on Prime Video as of Wednesday (March 4).
Check out the trailer for Young Sherlock here:
It is not Ritchie’s first time working in the Arthur Conan Doyle universe, as he directed two cinematic outings for the legendary sleuth: 2009’s Sherlock Holmes and 2011’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows, both starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.

Ritchie also worked with Fiennes Tiffin on his 2024 film The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

The show features an original score from Chris Benstead, a longtime Ritchie collaborator known for The Gentlemen, The Covenant and others.
It also uses Kasabian’s ‘Days Are Forgotten’ as its theme song. The track comes from the band’s fourth album ‘Velociraptor!’ in 2011 and appears here in a re-recorded version.
