A “Game of Throne” movie is in the works at Warner Bros. from “House of Cards” showrunner and “Andor” writer Beau Willimon. He already submitted a draft, according to Page Six Hollywood, which broke the news of the project. However, the outlet noted it’s unclear whether the “Game of Thrones” film will actually be made given the news that Warner Bros. is in the process of being sold to Paramount Skydance. Although plot details haven’t been confirmed, the story is reportedly about Aegon I, the founder of the Targaryen dynasty who conquered all of Westeros a few centuries before the original “Game of Thrones” television series.
