Recommended As announced in October last year, a sequel series to Peaky Blinders is in development from Netflix and the BBC. The untitled series, which consists of two six-episode seasons, will pick up after events of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. What do we know about the sequel series? The series, helmed by original creator Steven Knight, will follow the next generation of the Shelby family in Birmingham in 1953. An official synopsis reads: “After being heavily bombed in World War II, Birmingham is building a better future out of concrete and steel. In a new era of Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders, the race to own Birmingham’s massive reconstruction project becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions. This is a city of unprecedented opportunity and danger, with the Shelby family right at its blood-soaked heart.” A release date is yet to be announced, but filming on the show began in March 2026.
