everyone for ten minutes, the new album from Jack Antonoff's Bleachers, is coming out in just under a month. So far we've heard the singles "the van," "dirty wedding dress," and "you and forever," and today they're back with "i'm not joking," a ballad that gets a little freaky with it as far as Bleachers songs go. Antonoff plays a medeival-sounding harpsichord and dobro guitar, and there's also some hammond organ in the mix. Staying right on the theme of heart-on-sleeve confessionals, Antonoff sings about being so in love at first sight that all of those petty dating anxieties seem to disappear: "When you get what you want/ All of that fear comes out in the big wash." Listen to "i'm not joking" below. In other recent Antonoff news, he talked a bit about his relationship with Taylor Swift in a new interview with Howard Stern. Notably, Antonoff had no credits on Swift's 2025 album The Life Of A Showgirl, marking the first time he hadn't worked on a Swift album in over a decade. Stern asked Antonoff if he felt any remorse about this, to which Antonoff responded: "It sounds kind of corny. I only feel grateful for the work that has happened. Maybe it’s only because I write my own songs and sing them, but I understand that need to have different collaborators and jump around. I don't think it's normal to have the same collaborators over and over. And when I've had it with people, I think it's a weird miracle."
