David will play Garner Taggert, whose official character description reads: “He runs the Garner Taggart PI Agency, where his son Mitch and Mickey Wilder are the main PI’s. He’s a tough guy with somewhat antiquated views of the world.” He joins Jake Johnson, who was previously announced to be playing private investigator Mickey. Goor and Del Tredici, best known for their work on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” serve as executive producers in addition to writing the project.
