It looks identical to the hairstyle Swift sported at the 2010 American Music Awards — photos from which Huh Yunjin interspersed in her post — to perform “Back to December” from her then-new third album Speak Now. “uhhhh yeah lowkey its a fearless family tree,” the girl-group member captioned the snaps. Sixteen years ago, Swift’s fringe and straightened tresses were considered edgy among fans. At the time, the 14-time Grammy winner hadn’t previously done much experimenting with her famous blonde curls, but now, bangs are a key part of her look, with Swift getting hers cut for real for the first time in late 2011 for a Vogue photo shoot. If anyone would know the history of the Eras headliner’s hair, it would be Huh Yunjin. The South Korean-American singer is a major Swiftie who often cites the pop superstar as an inspiration for her own songwriting. “More than the story itself, it’s how she tells it that really struck me at a young age,” she told W Magazine of Swift’s songwriting in 2023. LE SSERAFIM is currently gearing up to drop new album PUREFLOW pt. 1 on May 22. The project will arrive after the group’s October single “Spaghetti” featuring BTS’ j-hope and new song “Celebration,” which dropped April 24.
