After two featured No. 1s, Lil Uzi Vert rules Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart for the first time in a lead role thanks to “What You Saying,” which tops the list dated March 21. The single advances from No. 3 as the most played song on panel-contributing rhythmic radio stations in the United States during the tracking week of March 6-12, according to Luminate.

“What You Saying,” released and promoted through Cor(e)/Roc Nation, traces its coronation to an 8% increase in plays compared with the previous tracking window (Feb. 27 – March 5). As it takes over, it sends last week’s No. 1, Tyla’s “Chanel,” to No. 2 after a week in charge as the former chart-topper slid 9% in plays for the latest tracking period.
Prior to “What You Saying,” Lil Uzi Vert enjoyed a view from the Rhythmic Airplay penthouse twice, both in featured capacities: on Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” a two-week champ in March 2017 and supporting Nicki Minaj on “Everybody,” which reigned for three frames in February-March 2024. As a lead act, the rapper-singer’s prior best was a No. 3 finish for “Just Wanna Rock” in March 2023. (March appears to be the lucky month for Uzi’s radio fortunes.)
Elsewhere, “What You Saying” shores up positions in the radio world. It holds at its No. 3 high on Rap Airplay with a 7% boost in audience for the tracking week. On the audience-based R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, it jumps 14-11 from 6.2 million audience impressions, up 6% from the prior week’s count. Lastly, on the plays-based Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, the single rises 17-15 via a 6% gain in plays for the week.
Improvements across multiple formats help the track on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. There, it bumps 31-30 with 16.9 million audience impressions across all radio genre formats, up 7% from last week’s sum of 15.9 million.
