And one day in our digital music class, he came up to me and asked if I wanted to collaborate with him and I forgot. And then he came back to me a month later and asked if I wanted to collaborate with him again. And I said, yeah, absolutely. And he gave me the track and I was so excited to write to it because I'd never been so inspired and. I wrote the entire song in one day on the train back home, and then we recorded it the weekend after. - EdenLoadingWhat track of yours means the most to you, and why?Bus stop, which is our most recent song, is really important to us. I think it was just a really great time of proper songwriting together because usually with our process, I'll make the beat and then I'll send it to Eden. - MaxI write by myself and then I'll come over and we recorded in his bedroom studio. - EdenThis time we really sat down and just brainstormed lyrics and just spent a couple days trying to get it right. I think once we recorded it, we realised that it was just one of our favourite songs. We put a lot of time into it and yeah, we just love it. - MaxWhat’s one song of yours that always goes off live?We haven't played any live shows yet; we're working on our set currently, so we'd be really excited to share our music live. - EdenHow do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?Loved and happy. I want it to be feel-good music that you dance around to, 'cause I know we were dancing around to it when we were making it. - EdenWho’s your dream collaborator? We love Thundercat! There are two that I'm thinking of that are very unrealistic, but obviously if I'm dreaming it, maybe it'll happen. Stevie Wonder and Erykah Badu. LoadingWhat’s something your fans might not know about you?I'm really obsessed with this game, fallout and we've been watching the TV series and it's just amazing. - MaxSo I've been kind of roped into it and now I kind of like it too. I'm a big digital and physical media collector. I collect CDs, and I just got a Discman the other day... for my birthday and it was the best thing ever, I take it everywhere. - EdenPosted 23 Feb 202623 Feb 2026Mon 23 Feb 2026 at 2:45amShareFacebookX (formerly Twitter)Meet Lucky: This Week’s triple j Unearthed Feature ArtistDuration: 4 minutes 16 seconds4m 16sSaddle Up for Your New Favourite Band: HORSE Duration: 4 minutes 28 seconds4m 28sWith a new album recorded at Abbey Road, this week's Unearthed Feature Artist Selve are making history.Duration: 4 minutes 30 seconds4m 30sUnearthed Feature Artist Jett Bylton is making “capital-P Pop songs”Duration: 3 minutes 3m Meet Hobart-based singer-songwriter Abby Wallace and her gorgeous blend of indie-folk-popDuration: 5 minutes 30 seconds5m Sleepazoid, the Naarm-based five-piece that are wide awake and shaking up alt-rock.Duration: 5 minutes 10 seconds5m Back to top
