ShareFacebookX (formerly Twitter)Having recently opened up for icons such as Blusher and G Flip, this week's feature artist is rightfully claiming their title as your new favourite popstar. Listen to the full interview here.Loading...While we had time with the popstar, we got the inside scoop for you and asked a few extra questions as well …LoadingDescribe your music in 3 words"Audacious, sexy, and fun."How did you get started in music?"I've loved music ever since I was born. My parents both loved music; my dad showed me all the different '80s songs that he loved, and my mum played piano and sang in the choir. I started dancing at a really young age. I think I was about four when I started classes. Eventually, that turned into me wanting to make my own music and make people move."What track of yours means the most to you, and why?"The first song where I really felt like, when I put it out, 'this represents me so well,' is 20 Something. That song got my first play on local radio and connected with people in a way I'd never experienced before."What's one song of yours that always goes off live?"I think now, when I play, I Love Girls is definitely the one that gets everyone jumping with me. We're all headbanging together, and it makes me so happy."How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?"When people listen to my music, I want them to feel seen and heard."Who's your dream collaborator?"I'm gonna say I'd love to do a collab with Fred again."What's something your fans might not know about you?"I have a brother. People don't really know that. He's 40, and my sister is in the arts as well, so she and I do a lot of similar stuff and we're always together. He doesn't really like taking photos or anything, so he's not really on my Instagram."Check out Robert Baxter's unearthed profileLoadingPosted 15 Mar 202615 Mar 2026Sun 15 Mar 2026 at 10:00pmShareFacebookX (formerly Twitter)Meet PASH: This Week’s triple j Unearthed Feature ArtistMeet Lucky: This Week’s triple j Unearthed Feature ArtistDuration: 4 minutes 16 seconds4m 16sSaddle Up for Your New Favourite Band: HORSE Duration: 4 minutes 28 seconds4m 28sWith a new album recorded at Abbey Road, this week's Unearthed Feature Artist Selve are making history.Duration: 4 minutes 30 seconds4m 30sUnearthed Feature Artist Jett Bylton is making “capital-P Pop songs”Duration: 3 minutes 3m Meet Hobart-based singer-songwriter Abby Wallace and her gorgeous blend of indie-folk-popDuration: 5 minutes 30 seconds5m Sleepazoid, the Naarm-based five-piece that are wide awake and shaking up alt-rock.Duration: 5 minutes 10 seconds5m MusicBack to top
