Modest Mouse Reveal New Song "Look How Far...," Add 2026 Tour Dates
Modest Mouse have revealed a new song, “Look How Far…,” their first new track in five years. They’ve also added a new stretch of 2026 North American tour dates. “Look How Far…” is Modest Mouse’s first new music offering since their last album, 2021’s The Golden Casket. The new song, which runs just under two minutes, is an urgent, anxious, and slightly chaotic return from the Isaac Brock-led group. “Look how far we haven’t come,” Brock sneers in the chorus, lamenting how we’ve seemingly ignored history’s lessons in this day and age. “Oh my God we’re so fucking dumb!” Stream the new song below. They’ve just added a new stretch of tour dates taking place in between festival appearances and previously-announced headlining shows this summer; the new dates kick off on July 2nd in Bellingham, Washington and continue through cities like Vancouver, Chicago, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and more. The tour concludes with a show at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer on August 28th, followed by an appearance at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees festival on September 20th.
