More Than 50 Bands Contribute to Green Day Tribute LP to Benefit Animal Shelters

A new compilation series titled A Tribute to Green Day features more than 50 bands covering the legendary punk act’s music, with proceeds benefiting a pair of no-kill animal shelters. Pre-orders for the first two volumes, containing 59 tracks, are now available in color vinyl limited to 1,000 copies. The first volume contains artwork inspired by Green Day’s Dookie album, while the second volume features artwork inspired by the band’s Insomniac LP. The compilation is being released by Punk Rock Radar and Coffin Curse Records, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and CARE of DC in Wappingers Falls, New York.
