Other key cast members include Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford and Edward James Olmos.  “Ted Lasso” star Goldstein penned the script alongside Joe Kelly, one of “Ted Lasso’s” co-creators. Ol Parker, who directed “Imagine Me & You,” “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” and the Julia Roberts and George Clooney-led romantic comedy “Ticket to Paradise,” helmed the film.   Popular on Variety It’s a return to Netflix for Lopez, who previously starred in the platform’s 2023 action thriller “The Mother” and 2024 sci-fi action film “Atlas.” It’s also a return to the romantic comedy for her, a genre she has become synonymous with over her career; she’s starred in films like Prime Video’s “Shotgun Wedding,” “The Wedding Planner,” “Maid in Manhattan,” “Monster-in-Law,” “Marry Me” and “The Back-Up Plan,” to name a few.  Most recently, Lopez starred in the 2025 musical drama “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” Goldstein recently appeared in Apple TV’s “Shrinking,” “Love, Death & Robots,” “All of You” and “The Garfield Movie.”  News that “Office Romance” was in development first broke in 2024. “Office Romance” was produced by Lopez, Goldstein, Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina and Joe Kelly, and executive produced by Pamela Thur and Courtney Baxter.  See the trailer here.
