As well as ‘Dead End’, the album has also been previewed by ‘My Maker’, which takes inspiration from ‘90s alt-rock, Britpop, and shoegaze. Snail Mail’s last album, 2021’s ‘Valentine’ scored a five-star review from NME which read: “Expertly curated, every single song in ‘Valentine’s relatively restrained 10-song tracklist feels like a fully-realised gem. “As a songwriter, Jordan continues to cut straight through to the messy, conflicted, hopelessly infatuated guts of life. It’s a rare skill to pull it off so flawlessly in a signature track or two – let alone across the space of two concise records.” Related TopicsAlternativeIndieLive Music NewsSnail Mail You May Also Like Advertisement TRENDING Denzel Curry & The Scythe – ‘Strictly 4 The Scythe’ review: a fun, freewheeling rap link-up Mandy, Indiana’s speaker-blowing noise-punk is here to galvanise The Kooks to play The Great Escape 20th anniversary show presented by NME Christian Bale’s Frankenstein was inspired by Sid Vicious and Richey Edwards: “I’m a massive Manics fan” The biggest video game concerts you can’t miss in 2026 Advertisement More Stories Music News Hayley Williams’ new group Power Snatch share captivating cover of This Is Lorelei’s ‘Perfect Hand’ Music News Bilbao BBK Live 2026: Calvin Harris and Westside Cowboy lead new line-up additions Music News R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe teams up with Andrew Watt, Josh Klinghoffer and Blink-182’s Travis Barker for epic ‘Rooster’ theme song ‘I Played The Fool’ Music News Alice Cooper announces “definitive autobiography” ‘Devil On My Shoulder’ with UK Q&A book tour Music News Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026: Olivia Dean, CMAT, Niall Horan lead latest line-up additions Music News Kanye West announces Los Angeles ‘Bully’ launch show and more European gigs as shows meet backlash for past anti-Semitism
