'SNL': Watch Mumford & Sons, Hozier, Aaron Dessner, And Sierra Ferrell
Skip to ContentNewsWatch Mumford & Sons & Hozier & Aaron Dessner & Sierra Ferrell Play SNLBy Abby Jones11:12 AM EST on March 1, 2026Share on FacebookShare on RedditShare on EmailShare on Bluesky1CommentsMumford & Sons played SNL for the fourth time last night. They did "Rubber Band Man" and "Here," two songs from their new album Prizefighter; Hozier joined them to sing his parts on the former song, while Sierra Ferrell sang on the latter in lieu of Chris Stapleton, who sings on the studio version. For both songs, Mumford & Sons had backup from Aaron Dessner, who co-produced Prizefighter. The episode was hosted by Heated Rivalry star and fictional hockey player Connor Storrie, his first time as host. His monologue featured cameos from U.S. Olympic hockey gold medalists Jack and Quinn Hughes from the men's team and Hilary Knight and Megan Keller from the women's team. "It was gonna be just [the women], but we thought we'd invite the guys too," Knight said, a reference to last weekend's controversy when Donald Trump undermined the women's hockey team during congratulatory call to the men's team. Unlike the male athletes, the women's team ended up declining Trump's invite to this week's State Of The Union address (technically citing their travel schedule), but got an invite to party with Flavor Flav in Las Vegas instead.Storrie's Heated Rivalry castmate Hudson Williams also appeared in an ice skating sketch. Mumford & Sons also showed up in an office-themed sketch, where they said a few lines and played a little acoustic "Unchained Melody." And in a pre-filmed sketch that was cut for time, Veronika Slowikowska and Jane Wickline performed a very relatable hip-hop song about confusing car handles in Ubers.
