The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is coming on Wednesday, March 18, star Tom Holland has confirmed. But hungry true believers can already chew on the morsels of that new trailer in the form of tantalizing two-second snippets, which Sony Pictures and your friendly neighborhood influencers have been dropping on social media. A handful of teasers for that trailer are now live, including one that's definitely "for the fans." Holland and Spider-Man: Brand New Day director Destin Daniel Cretton are recreating the iconic cover for Marvel Comics' Amazing Fantasy #15, the first appearance of Spider-Man, in live-action for the new phase of the superhero's MCU journey. Peruvian influencer Cliver Huaman Sanchez, aka Pol Deportes, got to reveal the first footage of Tom Holland's Spider-Man swinging with an unidentified New Yorker, a slow-motion recreation of the 1962 comic book.
Other teasers show moments that are more mundane, including shots of Peter Parker masking up, a moment where Pete appears to be in physical distress and passes out, and another scene in which Spider-Man loses control of his webbing. There's also a dramatic shot from within Spider-Man's mask, showing Pete's peepers up close. Here's a sampling of what's been revealed so far. In all cases, you're going to need to advance to the second slide for your sneak peek at Spider-Man.

There's still more to come from Spider-Man superfans and cosplayers, if you're a glutton for this kind of slow-roll marketing. If not, just chill until Wednesday, when the first full trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home is promised. Spider-Man's next MCU outing will focus on Peter Parker still reckoning with the decisions of Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which Dr. Strange cast a spell that wiped the world's memory of Peter as Spider-Man. Even longtime friends Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya) don't remember him, as illustrated by the heartfelt confessional letter that Peter is heard writing (and narrating) at the beginning of the trailer. If Brand New Day goes the way Peter Parker's fortunes typically do, there probably won't be a happy ending in Spider-Man's future. (Maybe in the sequel...)
Daniel Destin Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Short Term 12), directed Spider-Man: Brand New Day based on a script from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who wrote the screenplays for the previous three Spider-Man films. Joining Holland, Zendaya, and Batalon in Spider-Man: Brand New Day are newcomers to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman. Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into movie theaters on July 31.
