Stanley Simmons, Sons of KISS Legends, Announce Debut Album

Stanley Simmons, the duo comprised of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons (sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS), have announced their debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending, set for release on August 28th. The band has already released the singles “Body Down” and the album’s title track, and recently announced its first-ever live shows, a run of four California gigs set to kick off May 4th in San Diego. The tune is the first song that Evan and Nick ever wrote together. Advertisement Related Video While they are the sons of KISS legends, Stanley Simmons’ music sounds nothing like that of their fathers’ famous band. The vibe is more folk-rock, with hints of Simon & Garfunkel and ’60s psychedelia. Proud father Paul Stanley told WCSX, “It’s amazing that totally organically, Evan, my son and Nick, Gene’s son, about a year ago started making music together. They’ve known each other their whole lives, but this bond they’ve had with music and this album they’ve done is crazy good.
