Wolf - Carol Bax; Justin Hughes - Geoffrey Donne; Casey Krehbiel - Uncredited Video game streamers are getting scarier than ever, thanks to a new gaming psychological thriller that adds a new deadly troll to the mix. “Streamer,” a new film from writer/director Justin Hughes, has added four players to its cast, Variety can confirm. Freddy Piazza (the short film “Overdue,” independent stage productions of “Face Divided” and “9 Circles”), Rachel Alig (“Mistake,” “Found Footage”), Francesca Rowe (microdramas like “Playing it Real” and “Broken Queen”) and K.C. Wolf (“Yesterday”) have joined the film, which is set to film in Los Angeles and Ventura this spring. Previously, his shorts like “A Curious View,” “Where Does the Maiden Lie?” and “Fractal Chaos” have been shown at festivals across the country, including the Catalina Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival and LA Shorts International Film Festival. Casey Krehbiel is producing the film through his Blue Bow Tie Productions company. Jaime Gallagher, CSA is serving as co-producer and casting director for “Streamer.” In addition to acting work, Piazza has grown a social media presence via showing his journey moving from North Carolina to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting.
