After Aaron Pierre makes his DC Studios debut as Green Lantern John Stewart in HBO’s “Lanterns,” he’ll meet Superman in the upcoming sequel “Man of Tomorrow.”
Pierre’s filmography includes the hit Netflix film “Rebel Ridge,” portraying Malcolm X in the Nat Geo series “Genius: MLK/X” and starred in Barry Jenkins’ limited series “The Underground Railroad” for Prime Video. He also previously appeared in the DC series “Krypton,” in the role of Dev-Em. He also voiced Mufasa in Jenkins’ “Lion King” prequel film “Mufasa” and most recently appeared in Sony Pictures Animations’ “Goat.” Pierre is repped by WME, Anonymous Content, Hamilton Hodell, Sloane Offer and Narrative.
THR first reported Pierre’s crossover role. DC Studios had no comment.
