The Pretty Reckless Announce New Album Dear God, Share 2026 Tour Dates
The Pretty Reckless have announced a new album, Dear God, out on June 26th. They’ve also shared a new song, “When I Wake Up,” and announced a 2026 North American tour. Dear God serves as The Pretty Reckless’ fifth album and their first since 2021’s Death by Rock and Roll. The project, which will arrive via Fearless Records, sees the band continuing their raw, rock-forward style with even more vulnerability in the mix. Dear God will also feature lead single “For I Am Death,” which we named as one of the best songs of 2025. Advertisement As the latest preview of Dear God, The Pretty Reckless have unveiled the scorching new track “When I Wake Up.” With shades of blues rock and punk, the song follows vocalist Taylor Momsen as she narrates a pattern of self-sabotage. “‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare,” Momsen said in a statement. “When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…” Stream “When I Wake Up” below. Prior to readying Dear God, Momsen and The Pretty Reckless rang in the holidays last year with an EP, Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas. The band was also announced as the openers for AC/DC’s upcoming 2026 North American tour; get tickets to see them both this summer here.
