The Pretty Reckless have announced their new album ‘Dear God’ with the thrashy lead single ‘When I Wake Up’ – listen below.

The New York band, led by Taylor Momsen, will release their fifth studio album via Fearless Records on June 26 and you can pre-order your copy here.
Advertisement The record will include their 2025 single ‘For I Am Death’, and now they have shared the latest teaser in the form of the ‘When I Wake Up’ single, a raw, punk flavoured slice of powerhouse alt-rock.
The band have also announced details of an extensive tour that will take in North America, Europe and the UK throughout the second half of 2026. See all of the dates and ticket information below.
Speaking about the new single, Momsen has said: “‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…”

‘For I Am Death’ was The Pretty Reckless’ first new music since the ‘Death By Rock And Roll’ album in 2021, which featured a contribution from Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello.
The band’s live dates start in Raleigh, North Carolina on July 10 and sees them travel across North America for three months, rounding off in Silver Springs, Maryland on September 26.
They then head to Europe, kicking off in Madrid on November 9, before finishing off with shows in Bristol, Wolverhampton, Manchester and London, with the final show in Glasgow on December 3.
Advertisement Tickets will go on pre-sale for fans who have ordered the album at 10am local time on Tuesday (March 17). The general sale begins at the same time on Friday (March 20) and you will be able to find yours here (UK) and here (US).
