We’re excited to welcome him to our roster.” Popular on Variety “Being signed to TDE feels like joining the Golden State Warriors or the Lakers,” adds Trap Dickey. “I’m looking forward to a winning season with TDE.” The Hartsville, South Carolina native started rapping at the age of 21, the same year that he was accidentally shot in a crossfire. That experience inspired him to pursue music professionally, and he scored his breakthrough with the 2023 song “Blue Devils” and its remix featuring DaBaby. In the time since, he’s released a string of singles including “Yeah Yeah” featuring Boosie Badazz and “No Love” featuring BigXthaPlug. In June 2025, Trap Dickey touched on his ties to TDE during an interview with Bootleg Kev. He recalled how he mingled with SZA and former TDE signee Kendrick Lamar at the BET Awards, and had previously met Tiffith in passing. Kev noted that Tiffith had also posted one of Dickey’s songs to social media. “You on TDE would be crazy,” said Kev. Dickey responded, “Trap Dickey, TDE, that’d be really nice.” Jump to Comments Oscars 2026 Presenters: Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, Robert Downey Jr. and More Join Star-Studded Lineup Coca-Cola Hopes Beverages Make Splash in ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Adrian Grenier Says ‘It’s a Disappointment’ Not to Be Cast in ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’: ‘I Also Understand There’s Some Backlash With Nate’ Anne Hathaway Was ‘Fully in Character’ on ‘The Odyssey Set,’ Even When the Camera ‘Wouldn’t See Her for Three Days’: ‘You Never Stop Working’ Anne Hathaway, Elizabeth Hurley, Tom Ford Among Film and Fashion Celebrities Paying Last Respects at Valentino Funeral in Rome ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Trailer: Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt Return in High-Fashion Sequel JavaScript is required to load the comments.
