Zendaya‘s mom, Claire Stoermer, is weighing in on the matter of her daughter and Tom Holland’s wedding — which, according to the actress’ longtime stylist Law Roach, took place without anyone realizing.

After the fashion expert shocked fans by claiming that the famous couple’s nuptials had “already happened” in a red-carpet interview at the Actor Awards, Stoermer reportedly reposted a clip of the moment on her Instagram Story. “The laugh….,” she wrote in a since-deleted post, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The Actor Awards took place Sunday (March 1). At the event, Law bluntly told an Access Hollywood reporter who’d asked about Zendaya and the Marvel actor’s wedding, “You missed it.”
“It’s very true,” he added at the time when the surprised journalist sought confirmation.
Billboard previously reached out to the two stars’ reps and the stylist for comment.
The Challengers star is the daughter of Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, who both worked as school teachers in Zendaya’s hometown of Oakland, Calif. In 2016, reports emerged that the Disney Channel alum’s mom had filed for divorce after eight years of marriage, which Zendaya confirmed by sharing a then-recent family photo on X and writing, “My parents ain’t been together for a long time, y’all didn’t know cause we private+they still homies #lateassnews.”
A decade later, the Euphoria leading lady still prefers to keep her personal life private — as evidenced by the confusion over her possibly marrying Holland without the public knowing. The pair have always kept their relationship low-key, getting engaged around the beginning of 2025 but not confirming it until that September, when Holland corrected a reporter who’d called Zendaya his “girlfriend” instead of his “fiancée.”
